Happy Wednesday, friends!

I hope all of my readers are safe as they are reading this. These past few weeks have been heartbreaking with the natural disasters wreaking havoc in the south. You are all in my prayers! ♥

So how many of you are familiar with coconut oil??

I started using coconut oil with many of my DIY products around the house, especially beauty products, because it has amazing benefits for your skin.

However, I was recently talking to a friend about my recent stomach issues and she recommended ingesting coconut oil because along with its topical benefits, it also has a ton of benefits for your inner body! Here are just a few:

After reading about how coconut oil can aid your digestion, I figured it was at least worth a try! The days that I add coconut oil to my diet, I've noticed my stomach pain is less frequent, my energy level is more stable, and I don't crave sugar as much as I normally do!

While you can certainly just eat a spoonful of it if you so wish (I don't recommend that but I won't judge you either way), my favorite way is to add it to a hot beverage, especially coffee! Coconut oil melts very quickly and easily when it's warm, so a hot beverage is a perfect way to add it into your diet!

It's incredibly simple and does wonders for your health!

Ingredients:

→ A cup of coffee (or tea, hot chocolate, etc.)
→ 1/2 - 1 tbsp of coconut oil

Directions:

1) Make your coffee how you normally would.
2) Add coconut oil to coffee. Stir to mix.
3) Drink coffee and smile because you're doing great things.

That's it. I'm serious! So easy and so good for you!
I do recommend starting with 1/2 tbsp of coconut oil and advancing from there if you wish. I still prefer only 1/2 tbsp because it gets a little too oily for my taste with 1 tbsp. It's totally up to you, though!

If you try it out, let me know what you think!
